I am finally back from camp !

goodbye SARIMBUN and hello CIVILISATION

SLC wasn't that bad after all

the first impression of campsite was like OMG, WTH

why am i in such a pathetic place?!

then i later realise it was NICE .

DAYONE:

rafting, kayaking,rock wall,night hike and song session

rafting reminds me of guides larh

and KAYAKING was SERIOUSLY FUN

its like i cant believe choryi and i did so well

(the fact that we didnt drift too far)

the funny part was that other than suwenn and beverly

someone else capsized

no need to be so obvious since he blog hops

ROCK WALL was like shit larh

i just cant climb and dear WANI refuses to let me down

no excitement at all , i was like anticipating some horror content

we used solid fuel and it stinks

we were pratically having fun

with the crushing and opening of maggi packets

were experimenting with food larh

and we got to realise sardine sauce+ noodle and sausage= DELICIOUS

we ate like small kids larh but had great fun

we dirtied the place and attracted the vicious ants .

there was this SARIMBUN HIKE that almost took my life

it was scorching hot and water supply ran low

everywhere, there was this stench of cow dung

mrs chan was very nice

on the way back, it seemed so much easier

WANI told lame jokes and we told her ours

i am burnt( my ears, nose, cheeks..)

there's all sort of valuable in there

and tadpoles too

its very fun and we slide down so fast

so never attempt to shout i love three truth

cause your mouth will be filled with milo and tadpoles !

then we proceed to some weird tyre tunnel

which i am very fortunate to skip (:

and before breaking camp

we had to do area cleaning in the teacher's cabin

big and air-conditioned

like how can like that

but the job was easy to do and super slack

poor zijin had to sweep the floor so many times

it seems like the floor had dirt resurfacing every now and then

camp was great;

filled with wonderful memories !

OUTDOOR COOKING (:
Wolin patrol cooked the most amount of food :D
we had cheese sausage,
chocolate banana, soup , capsicum egg
and pasta in tomato sauce with crabstick and sausage :DD
hahas. the chocolate banana is yummy.
the capsicum egg was quite a failure ):
the cheese sausage brought by huiting
was DELICIOUS! we just threw the leftover sausages
into the fire to cook cause there's too much leftover !
we had too much ember cause liting keep dumping
wood into the fire!

Day 3>
TENTAGE !
it's a tired tired day
we had to do 40 pumpings + 20 jumping jack
at the end of pre-camp !
my hand was trembling through out
and while doing the jumping jack,
i kept laughing (: no idea why ?
hahas. our patrol got the NP tent ):
IT'S SAMLL ! I WANT THE BLUE NYLON TENT !
the NP tent is difficult to pitch
as there's many twine to attach and pegs to mellet
and it is seriously difficult to keep it neat!
the main guyline keep snapping, so weak.
and it's real tough to tie the knots at 45 degree :S

the people pitching the NP tent took a much longer time

compared to the blue nylon tent

oh, and there's the viming of pots

we only had 15 mins so we ended falling in late

=more pumping X)

today, sunburnt and tired

and a bit feverish so can't go to school ):

and i will be missing out outdoor cooking

and prize ceremony and the PMB stuff )):

the priest seems to be talking with much sense

that his speech made most of us cry

CREEPYYYY ! we hide here and there and all over, we mingled with the primary school student. somehow, it reminds me of the games we play in primary school . then when chinepei told me that chua yixin had officially left school, i felt relieved. then we went wondering around for the second time and we saw CHUA YIXIN AND HER EVIL FRIEND !!!! omg. we hide at the upper concourse then this chinpei went to peep at the father barre then yixin's friend spotted her. LOUSY CHINPEI! she came up to the concourse but then we hid in the toilet. PHEW :P then in school we had nothing better to do so we decided to go home. GO HOME TO STONE/ DECOMPOSE :/ i'm looking foward to MONDAY; its a school holiday and i am going to ice-skate !

hahas. today is also home econs pratical day cum the sixth day of me eating pasta. seriously.. i got phobia of pasta alr. i ate it for six days alr. two days for the practice round at sining's house (: hahas. sining's house is so damn nice,thou i said its small . hahas. her dog is hyper. so scary can. the dog always bark and its quite big.oh well, i am not the only scary cat, there's still hilary. that was on wednesday i think. chinpei didnt go): the whole group went on friday((: and we cooked pasta AGAIN ! we also tried the soup recipe; self created. its gross but somehow sining think its yummy. weird right? its just diluted tomato ketchup. bleah. then saturday was this HSk thingy which is like $53. its so expensive. and require us to do so many things. the ting li is so boring,almost fall asleep.

hahas. home econs pratical test is successful (((: and I DECLARE THAT I LOVE HOME ECONOMICS ! yay. actually we didnt plan the the things we need to do, we just do whatever there is. yup. the food is good,especially the salmon and the chicken wing. oh man, lets cook again together. the soup is abit impromptu. its like last minute work. i found this recipe about chicken soup on sunday afternoon then i save it in my phone. so during the test, i just kept referring to my phone. shucks. but it still turned out fine :D( it's mainly chicken broth.) ms stella also showed us this neoprint she took with some very sissy guy. this guy likes her but ms stella got no feeling for him so this kind of relationship can be described as chinpei's way "its just a one-sided love,hais "hahas. next time i shall post the pictures of the food taken (:

oh ya,i didnt mention about last week mock test. too busy sleeping and studying. hahas. maths was difficult. the science paper was quite easy, especially bio. chinese was damn tiring. there's like so many li jie wen da. curses. english literature was also tough. i wrote crap for the wanglung's attidude towards lotus. i gave crap answers like wang lung showered love on lotus by giving her the best food form the south, fine garments.... the macbeth qn also very AHEM . shall not talk about it. it makes my blood boil.

HAPPY BELATED TEACHER'S DAY ((:
i did not have time during the past few days ): hahas.

On wednesday: After school me and chinpei went to J8 to shop for teacher's day present. When we were saw this 265 bus aproaching, we ran towards the bus stop and that uncle did not stop the bus. He just drove past like no one's business. i think i can rmb his bus plate but i shall be kind not to mention it. When we arrive at J8.. its already like 3.45pm and we just shop around aimlessly. Chinpei had this weird idea for teacher's day present.. she wanted to buy apples ! i think its so weird lar. The best part of this aimless shopping is that we spent around an hour in NTUC agruing whether or not to buy ready made cookie/cake mix. yup. in the end we bought NOTHING and that was pathetic. We only ate sushi (: hahas. I think we wasted too much time there. then we went window shopping again until chinpei decided to call her mum to buy roses (: we bought abt 4 roses( hilary, chinpei and i(combine))! Went we wanted to go home, it just started to pour like mad. chinpei turned down the offer to hitch a ride from my dad and i wonder whether she was drenched from head to toe ? hahas.

on thursay: TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION IN ST NICKS ((:
it was raining early in the morning and somehow the rain did not stop. the teacher's run was postponed and we had to go to the hall. the hall was packed,seriously and all of us had to make do with the changes. We also recived our class tee ! The material was quite translucent and the collar was quite uncomfortable but the overall design and everything was fine. Poor rachel. she can't fit into the class tee as the size was like 28. hello, size 28 is the size for a 7 year old. i know rachel is small in size but not to that extend. hahas.We did the aces day workout in the hall and i can swear that it was very dumb and funny. i think very few of us did it. anyways.. we returned to class ver soon. it was free time and everybody went around looking for their teachers. We went to look for luo lao shi first and she gave each of us a hug, mrs nath who also gave each of us a hug and we were damn embarrassed. we gave the other rose to ms nair and the other to mrs sherwood. we cant find her but i think chinpei did eventually. We walked past Mr lin wen wei's table but too bad.. there's nothing for him. we did not get him anything. hahas. i know i am evil but cant be helped. NODS. btw.. he did not gel his hair and it just look so DIFFERENT. however, i think Mr lin in regina's eyes is always as macho as handsome as ever :D
Later on, we went up to the gym to watch the teacher-student basketball match.it was superb. yup. though mrs goh, mr soh and mr wong attempted and succeded cheating. student won one match and lost the other. the last match i had no idea who won. I didnt know that mrs nath was able to shot the ball. hahas. not being mean. The whole atmosphere was high High HIGH. hahas. guides had to leave early for the presentation of presents to guiders. very disappointing as we did not mange to witness the crucial match ):
After the presentation, lijie,sis and i rushed like siao as we were running late. its already 11.30am and we need about an hour to get back to nan hua ! We attempted to hail a taxi just outside school but somehow it failed as there's another group just opposite us and they are lijie's junior. took 265 to ang mo kio central and tried to hail taxi and it seemed bleak when all of a sudden this taxi came approaching. its looks like there's hope approaching and we were damn happy. For one taxi.. it took us 1/2 hour and i am not lying. the taxi fare was $10. i owe my sis money. SHIT. hahas. when we got back.. woah. the school was crowded. so many old students. oh my. and i spotted a few 6f '04 students. The boys.. they grow so much and i feel so inferior. they are all like 163-170 cm tall. hello. i am only 160cm and i stopped growing le and they still got one more year. why is this so so so unfair !!!
We ( juliana,lijie,nicholas, zhiyong, tongjing and munweng) went to jurong entertainment centre. we ate lunch at the food court. i ate japanese food with munweng((:later munweng left as her mum doesnt allow her to stay for too long(3pm). Oh ya. CONGRATS munweng for being the new PS :D the remaining watched love wreacked. its nice(: hahas and it is so unexpected that the pricing of movie ticket is $7. hahas. the boys sat at the front row and the girls sat just behind them. juliana,lijie,me and tongjing. the ending of the show was so funny and i cant stop laughing. All because of lijie lar.. i didnt even notice it until lijie told me so.hahas. we saw waner,daphne,xinyun and some others. took neos and left for home asap. mum fetched us home as it was raining. Overslept in the morning and later went out with mum and both sister to PLAZA SINGAPURA for lunch. the fast food restaurant all very crowded and we ate at mos burger. lindsey ate my fish burger and i ate her sausage bread. THURSDAY-- yay ! i am so glad that the indian dance is finally over ! hahas . I think that 2 PURITY did a very good job even though we did not emerge champion :) I also realise that our class had the fewest participants. hahas. other classes made the whole class participate ! hahas. PURITY HAVE THE CHAMPION SPIRIT :D

FRIDAY--it was a tiring day. i had insufficient sleep cause i woke up at 5am to study my geography test again. chinpei was even better.. she left her book at home and did not study. she had forgotten i got myself a new scanner and that i can send her the info. OMG ! how blur can she get :) nevermind about that . after school got some monitor briefing for the meet the parents session later that day and i have to go for maths remedial or else that CRAZY LIN will give me hell.( HE JUST SUCK LIKE ANYTHING) i almost went nuts trying to manage this two things at the same time.I told ms lee to let me leave early and thank god she was so nice to do so. that STUPID LIN was like AHEM! OH MY , WHY ON EARTH DID THE SCHOOL ALLOW SUCH A PAIN TO STAY?? rahhh ! i left his lesson at around 2.55pm in order to make it to the spec stand by 3pm for footdrill. Guides started the NDP training much later than the other UG group and its not fully our fault that our footdrill suck ! anyway.. i just got more burnt due to the scorching hot sun ! hahas. guides got seperated into two squad and that isn't really FAIR ! urgh ! and in addition..i was asked to time by MAY! oh my GODD, i knew i was going to die of embarrassement and true enough.. i was embarrassed ! i timed until i ran out of breath and i thought there's going to be another asthma attack :/ jiayin was nice to ask whether i was alright :) hahas. i left early because i got monitor duty to do(4.30pm) and it was just nice cuz the next thing was the combine rehersal. hahas. poor adeline, francesca, deborah and dawn tan. Had the most dreaded dinner ever... chicken rice that is super cold ! and next proceded with duty at around 6pm. parents start coming but the street 13 side was rather pathetic. Seriously. The other side seem more crowded. I was stationed at the lower concourse and it was kind of creepy( the piano and storeroom) but thank god some nice monitor came. that peiwen was damn funny lar! she asked every single parent this 'hello, are u here for the meet the parents session? oh.. just walk straight, turn right and walk down that flight of stairs'
at around 6.30pm... UG people was dismissed. francesca and people were like 'wah.. u so lucky !' thankyou thankyou.. i know that i am very lucky.but my leg is seriously very numb alr after all those marching and standing. The next thing that happen was... because of three packet of leftover food. ms gwee wants me to find out who haven eaten.. i ran from lower concourse to new AVA then to drama studio and i found out the culprit...but nevermind. at least i solve that problem and can account to ms gwee :))) 8pm alr and i need to rush for chinese tuition..i looked for mrs soh and asked whether the other monitor can leave but she say can't. so no choice but to ask peiwen to help and she's really nice to help :D hahas. took my bag from that ultra creepy guidance room with peiwen and went to look for dad who zoom from school all the way to tuition. YUCKS. i hate the tuition and i seriously need a bath .i need rest desperately and yet the teacher went on and on. And you know what.. she wore black form head to toe and that really made me even more grumpy.

I shall get my well deserved rest and i love the new monitor friend i made. THEY ROCK !

hahas. back after a long break of not blogging !

Anyways.. we had guides yesterday .
we had laundress lecture and it was quite dumb but at least i know that tapioca flour + hot water = glue. Maybe i should use it on somebody's mouth. muahahaha. Next we had OUTDOOR COOKING ! i anticipated it to be fun but... the fire just cant start. we used up 3 boxes of match stick and there's still no fire in sight ! PISSED ! in the end.. we had to use others fire. sad right?
In addition to that.. time was not enough and there's a slight drizzle. My whole body was like so flithy(covered with mud)RAHHHH. For lunch.. we need to eat the food we cook and our grp is so pathetic. We use other patrol's fire and our food was just pathetic. HARD SPAGHETTI AND DRIED SAUCE AND ONE POTATO AND FISH!!!oh my. other patrol like JASMINE and IXORA had good food.

I would like to thank chinpei's patrol and trina's patol for being so nice to help us cook our fish:) Bougain patrol too for allowing us to cook spaghetti there :D

Next.. the other patrols left for thrift test except for swallow patrol, oriole, mynah(deborah and joy) and kingfisher(rachel). hahas. Swallow patrol was clearing the toilet when later we joined in. the toilet was in disasterous state. seriously. we managed to make it cleaner. yup . Later.. we rushed like mad back to sec 1 quad to change into guide U and then for thrift badge test. hahas. We were like mad people running around.

We arrived at the home econs room and we saw many others patiently waiting for their chance. OMG ! its going to be a long wait.. i thought to myself ! we sat down and talk loads of crap cause the tester take very long:/ rachel and christel went to canteen to help us buy dinks :) i was in the last group and had waited for 45 minutes. sighs . that ****** was criticising our items. hello. we got feelings one lar. how can ****** be so insensitive. That deborah was so brave. she rebut her every sentence . Eg. *****: u are taking proficiency badges leh.. This kind of standard how to pass... Then deborh was like fail then fail lor.. next time do again lar. its very nice alr.. (secretly she say: as if u u can do) DEBORAH YOU ROCK !

I failed the thrift item part. but nvm.. she will be coming over again! I MUST PASS ! hahas.

VERY VERY VERY JEALOUS . the auditorium is so fantastic ! the aircon is so shiok ! hahas. we bought chips to eat . thank god we did not get caught. the performance was GREAT !! i was so high during campfire. hahas. everyone was high too. the screamings, clappings and the waving of the light stick. OMG ! the atmosphere was freaking high for st nicholas . but why didnt we win the best supporting award ? huh ? refreshment was as great as last year. thta deborah must be damn pleased lar. the performance from st nicks was good. NOW i know why that selina wanted our patrol cap. hummm. hahas . the MC is also the same as last year. didnt know that they were assistant patrol leader. so cool .

i spotted lots of ex-nhps students. hahas. only 1 spotted me back :D the campfire ROCKS. After the scouts hymn.. me and sis ran out immediately and down the slope we went. (mum and dad almost killed me becasue they waited very long) :) tracy lost her hat while running to the car. hahas. she got to go and buy. MUAHAHAHA !

Oh. btw. last SATURDAY was my campfire (: we met up early in the morning to practice the steps . then i need to go back home cause my dad said that i needed enough rest for the 10km walk ! hahas. Anyways, it was fun but i was kinda blur because i rush there IMMEDIATELY after they called me. We wore guide U to SJC then changed into camp survivor t-shirt and skirt. the skirt is like above the knee and it made me feel damn uncomfortable. it was like OMG ! we were there too early then we had to wait for the rest to come. (sighs) Catholic scouts went and i saw that stupid guy from tuition. I thick that he was damn thick skin( at least 10m thick), cause he was like super stupid to DANCE when people are performing ! it was like OMg ! should have film down and put it in my blog to lt him die from embarrassement. Muahahaha. oh ya, only 1 senior came for campfire and that was SI RUI. yupps. she was like 'where's the rest?' , 'u know i had tuition and i rush all the way here'... hahas. she was so disappointed.
Campfire ended quite early and my parents fetched me home late. i was the last one to leave (excluding ms gwee,her friend who came for the rafting and si rui). i think that the whole thing was quite boring. the whole atmosphere was not there. rather disappointing cause SJC didnt have the best item award. if not, st nicks would SURE get it. The air conditioner in their hall was shiok ! hahas. btw.. there was that funny tribal queen and king contest. jia feng represented our grp ! the catholic people made their representitive strip ! i pity that guy. REALLY.
THe next day was made worse as i had the most dreaded 10km walk. i woke up like super early and when we reach there.. we had to wait till 7.30am. btw.. the time then was 6.3oam. i saw lots of crazy ppl there. they dressed themselves up and can u imagine that they are going to complete the whole walk in that outfit !! hahas. i envy some ppl who took part in the competitive walk. they were like super fast .. like the speed of running. but too bad they had to walk ! when i was walking the 3km.. they were alr like opp us( completed 7km). OMG ! they are just not human. my dad say that they can complete the whole event within 45MINUTES. hello, thats like ultra fast considering the fact that they didnt run but instead walk. THEY ROCK :) i think i rock too cause i completed the walk in 1 hr and 30 mins. hahas. but by the end of the race.. my legs were in a state of decomposition. my blister burst and bled. my legs numb and swollen. hahas. so proud of myself that i had completed that 10km !

anyways.. i had a conversation with sylvia and its so dumb !

Mother's day

Long time never blog le. MOTHER'S day is finally here :)

very bored at home.. there's nothing much for me to do !

yesterday was so much better cause i had rafting :D

and it was rachel's birthday !

firstly.. got to wake up damn early just to meet jiafeng, jolene, xinhui and trina at ***

then we ate breakfast together before going to school. later ..

we went to east coast park :)

Ms gwee scolded us because we sat on the specs-stand at 8am

she expected us to get ready and set off from school.

she also last min tell us cannot use tyres

The first thought i had is that the raft we are going to build is going to sink !

Anyways we still had bottles we picked on thursday afternoon :P

Quite last minute but cant be helped

We took 1hr and 20 mins to build the raft

but i thought we were quite good alr

cause we were not as well trained as camp challenge.

they went into the waters first..

well, theirs didnt float as well as ours

seriously i am not lie-ing

they had the rectangular bottles whiich is easier to tie whereas we got some very ROUND bottles

still, WE MADE IT !!!

the race on the other hand, we lost .

cause we were too happy and excited when our raft managed to float that we paddled any-o-how!

By the time our colourful raft got out of the sea...

it was disasterous

Bits and pieces of bottles and styrofoam floated away into the sea

and i can see that the seniors are super pissed!

They helped us pick up the debris of our wreaked raft

But somehow.. ms gwee praised us on our paddle

it cost us 2 dollar.

The weather turned nasty,

and all our bottles and newspaper were flying all around

the waters turned nasty

and thank god, we finished the whole rafting session!

The rafters went to change first

followed by the camp challenge people

the food that selina's mother made was good

but too little

when we came out, the food left was ...

thats why we drank lots of drinks ((:

next.. ms gwee made us take pictures

on a big rock

we had to climb onto it and i was damn scared

Scared because i dont wish to fall into the sea :S

then we went home (3.20 pm) !

actually we had evaluation before that!

Sports day

yesterday was such a busy day. firstly, i had to meet selina chin at that macdonald bus stop at 8.3oam so that we can go to bishan mrt together. yups , oriole patrol is suppose to meet at bishan mrt station at 9am and i keep telling selina that she had bad time mangement cause we are going to be late. but it turn out to be me being overly anxious ! i just cant believe that we reached there 5 mins before time. anyways... bought all their uniform except for the medium size hat. Saw that funny betty and gillian in the guide shop ! btw.. gillian did something to her hair :)

later.. the patrol decided to go to J8 to take neos ! its such a pity that that neoprint shop opens at 11am. Fanny, gets and yee ching cant make it ! took neoprints twice and i realised that the 4 sec 1s are super enthu (:

met adeline ho and dawn at j8 too and they decided to go to my house :D that selina also decided to tag along. she's so lazy to go home despite her home being just opp st nicholas . anyways, had to take a taxi to my house cause time is running out ! selina paid the taxi fare ! Muahahaha..

around 1 pm, we decided to report to school because that selina is so kiasu ! had guides duty on sports day ! cut my hair just to escape from tieing plaits ! had a wonderful time doing duty.. it rained and i got so drenched ! so fun yet so meaningful :D The cheerleading and combine house cheer was so damn cool. Everybody was so HIGH ! Guides on duty like chinara, adeline, louisa, cheryl, dawn screamed like mad ! OMG ..

later part of the day, we distributed buns and water, shouted and cheered like mad for our respective houses , talk loads of crap, clap like mad, soaked in rain water, brought the competitors to the starting point and many more ! i enjoyed myself but the result turned out to be green housein the lead, following is blue, yellow then red. quite DISAPPOINTED WITH THE RESULT.

After the whole sports day.. i was very glad that all the houses cleaned up the area ! Had evaluation though..luckily adeline and i escaped from it. we had chinese tuition and were running late. took adeline's car there. We zoom there and took the DREADED test. i sort of regretted my choice to go for tuition. Seriously, i was not in the mood to complete the test. Adeline and I stink like mad and my leg was having cramp cause my shoe and socks were both soaking wet. HAte that hilary like mad cause she's didnt have public duty. Whateva lar, hilary ! Next year.. i hope u get a duty !

need a well deserved rest as i am running a fever and had lost my voice after all those screaming and shouting :)))

but this time round.. we did kitchen chores :)

I cut LADY'S FINGER and BITTER GOURD !

its quite sticky and it smells too !

cutting vegetables for the past 2 hours

and it seriously hurts my hand!

Later on, we went to eat JIn Kayu's famous Roti Prata :D

so many stores that state that they were the original one !

so heck care lar... just settle for any store ...

went to watch movie with Adeline yesterday after guides :D

yeahh ! its kinda late when we got to J8,

but nevertheless, we still got to watch the show (:

the cinema was so crowded but it was worth the while queueing up !

the dogs in the show are so CUTE !

very sad when the dogs were left all alone in that freezing climate
